To help you prepare your applications, we will be facilitating a series of information sessions.
By attending a session you will:
- learn what it means to be an Agent of Change
- be introduced to the application proposal and the process of submission
- learn how to strengthen your project proposal
- learn about the funding available for Agents of Change projects (up to $500 for each project)
Project proposal templates will be made available at the session. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the application process and the program as a whole.
All sessions will be held in Calumet College Room 221. All 2016 dates & times for the information sessions*** are as listed:
Monday, October 31 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Wednesday, November 2 from 11:00am - 12:00pm
Tuesday, November 8 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Friday, November 11 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Friday, November 11 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm
New this year, we will also be hosting a proposal bootcamp to help students work on their proposals and refine their ideas. While attendance is not mandatory to apply, this can be useful for students who have a great idea but need help to make it feasible and complete proposal requirements.
This session will be held in Stong College, Room 101 (Master's Dining Room) on Friday, December 2 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

IN ORDER TO APPLY YOU MUST BE:
- a York undergraduate or graduate student in any year level
- in good academic standing with York University
- in groups of 1-5 (majority of students in the group must be from Faculty of Health)
- Global Health
- Health Policy & Management
- Kinesiology & Health Science

To apply, please complete the project proposal found HERE and fill out the online application form HERE. Please upload your completed project proposal form in the online application. Incomplete proposals and application forms will not be reviewed. If you are applying as part of a group, you will only need to submit one application. Please assign a group member as a primary contact who is responsible for submitting the application on behalf of the group.
All applications are due on Friday, January 6, 2017 by 11:59pm.
All decisions will be made available by February 2017.
