Become a Peer Tutor:

Do you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and like interacting with other?  If yes, then apply to become a Peer Tutor for Calumet and Stong Colleges! We are currently looking for student tutors to help a variety of first and second year courses in Kinesiology, Psychology, Global Health, Nursing, and Student Health Policy and Management for Fall/Winter 2018-2019! Becoming a Peer Tutor means that you will provide one-on-one academic support for faculty of health students.

If interested, please click on the appropriate Program and Student Club applications to see what courses tutors are needed and to understand all job requirements.

Become a Peer Mentor:

Upper year students are invited to apply in becoming a Peer mentor for Fall/Winter 2018-2019.

As a peer mentor, you will have the opportunity to connect and help students one-on-one by providing guidance, connecting students to campus resources, and help create a positive student environment.

Become a York Orientation Day Volunteer:

Join our Orientation Team! We are looking for energetic, friendly and team oriented students to join us on September 4th, 2018 to help welcome incoming students into the YU community. As a volunteer you will help contribute in creating a friendly and enthusiastic environment for incoming students. This is a great opportunity for you to meet new people, share your experiences with incoming students and improve your leadership skills.

Become a Course Representative:

Want to further develop your leadership, communication and networking skills? Then being a Course Rep is a great start! Course Representatives are students enrolled in first or second year courses in the Faculty of Health who help support their fellow peer’s student experience and development through course announcements, organizing study groups, and being an active voice of the students regarding classroom experiences.
